How to find optimism in a post-pandemic world
Any path forward after the public health emergency ends May 11 must be focused on growth. To that end, long-term care providers must embrace new technologies, look at different programs and improve documentation and reimbursement practices. Adaptability also will be critical in order to keep up with the evolving regulatory environment.

Taking part were Sarah Dirks, EVP of business development at Pinnacle Quality Insight; Rick Foley, senior manager of Clinical Services at Omnicare; Patrick McCormick, a partner at Plante Moran; and Rick Taylor, chief strategy officer at Sentrics. McKnight’s Executive Editor James M. Berklan moderated the discussion.
